Where do I use Anvil Secateurs?
Pruning is essential to keep shrubs and roses in good shape and to encourage flower and fruit production. Anvil secateurs allow dead wood to be cut out of roses and other hardwood plants without the blades crossing over and jamming. For pruning of live wood use bypass secateurs. Bush roses can be pruned quite hard, reducing plants to around knee height.
